Career Summary

· Working as a full-time faculty member under the School of Science and Engineering (SSE) and teaching and mentoring students within the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) and in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE).

· Working on Outcome-Bsed-Education (OBE) to get accreditation in the engineering and technology field based on criteria set by Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) and to provide a viable and quality education to students keeping pace with the challenges of the 21^st Century to meet the demands of sustainable development in the national and international arena.

· Engaged in Photonics Research Centre as a post-doctoral research fellow in the University of Malaya, where working on the design and modeling of broadband coherent supercontinuum sources for various mid-infrared region applications such as sensing and biological imaging.

· Continuing research work involving with photonics modelling group in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering in City University London, UK.

· Meticulously preparing and producing creative and engaging tutorials through a variety of medium and presenting in an appealing, persuasive format in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering.

· Evaluating undergraduates on attainment, constantly monitoring their progress, giving oral and written feedback, and assessing work promptly and accurately.

· Experienced in numerical modelling of photonic devices such as nonlinear planar optical waveguides and photonic crystal fibres through the modal solutions approach based on the numerically efficient finite element method.

· Designing and optimising photonic devices such as supercontinuum laser sources for near-infrared to mid-infrared supercontinuum generation through dispersion tailoring of those devices.

· Part of Professor Rahman's photonics modeling group at City University London achieving the PhD in 2015.

· Teaching and mentoring students within the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) and the Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering (ETE).

· Diagnosing and rectifying any occurring faults in the switching system, programming a variety of Motorola Radio and Paging sets, and ensuring billing of the system was carried out regularly.
