We've categorized enrichment opportunities into 4 types. Go to the drop down menu for the details.

  • Contests - Graded written papers, that are similar to tests or exams. Performed on a scheduled date in school.

  • Competitions - Often organized by private companies. Students can participate independently of the school.

  • Research - Summer and March break opportunities to work in a lab. Some pay a stipend, most don't.

  • Experiences - Opportunities to learn science at a higher level with more intensity. Most of these incur a cost.

  • Credits - Places that offer a chance to earn a high school credit in a non-traditional setting (e.g. outdoor adventure, travel, science center).
