The Pre-Submission Draft has been approved by the Parish Council and independent advisors.

We produced a synopsis which was a supplement to the June 2017 Longhorsley Tree and can also be viewed below.

Full Pre-Submission Draft

There will only be a limited number of paper copies printed as this is now a substantial document.

Pre-Submission Draft Consultation

We will be seeking your feedback once again.

The consultation period for the Pre-Submission Draft Neighbourhood Plan itself will run until the end of July.

We will be seeking the views of various statutory bodies as well as the people of the parish during the six weeks.

You will also have an opportunity to meet the authors and your Parish Councillors face-to-face on Village Day (15th July) to discuss any points of interest or just to express your support. There will be a prize draw, which you can enter by using the feedback forms (paper and online) and this will be drawn on Village Day.

As before, you will be able to give feedback by using the form provided with the supplement or on the online form below.

THE CONSULTATION HAS NOW CLOSED.

Neighbourhood Plan Update

(Article published in September 2017 newsletter)

Thank you to all of those people who took the time to provide feedback on the Pre-Submission Draft Plan. It was great to meet people on Village Day and get their feedback and answer questions face to face. In total we had 61 completed feedback forms. 55 people felt fully supportive of the plan.

4 people were supportive but had a comment to make on the plan.

Only 1 person objected to the plan and there was one form which did not have any boxes ticked so could not be counted. The prizes in the draw were won by Esther Roberts, Ian Pringle and Mrs Brown.

Several of the statutory bodies have provided feedback on the plan.

Again, this is very supportive and three of the organisations have also provided some suggestions for further strengthening the plan. These have been included in the next version. NCC have also provided comments about the presentation of the policies and this too has been fed into the next version. The LPC are taking advantage of government funding to have an independent “Health Check” run against the plan before it goes for “Submission".

It is intended that the plan will be ready to be “Submitted” to NCC by the end of September. By that time we will have produced two accompanying documents which are also required by law. These are; a record of the consultations carried out during the life of the plan and a document which maps the national, county and parish plans and demonstrates the plan’s compliance at each level.
