Christmas Quiz Night at the Shoulder
Many thanks to everybody who supported the quiz night. We raised £246 for the Great North Air Ambulance.
Boxing Day Santa
Thanks to Santa, the Shoulder, Wendy and Kevin Templeman who provided the selection boxes, and to all those who came along. Proceeds are going to the Longhorsley First School PTA.
New Year's Eve Party in the Village Hall
Thank you to all the organisers and helpers. A special thank you to Something Spooked the Horses and Andy Craig who provided the entertainment on the night. Donations received of £90 will be reinvested into future events at the hall.
The Longhorsley Ball
Many thanks to all those who supported last month’s Longhorsley Ball by donating raffle prizes or attending the event. As ever, it was a fabulous evening and a wonderful start to the festive period. I’m delighted to report that we made a profit of £1,100, which will be distributed to local causes over the coming month.
This year’s event, the 25th annual ball, will be held at Linden Hall on Saturday 2nd December. We have our close-up magician and fantastic band Shakedown returning, and it promises to be another great evening, so do please put it in your diaries. We won’t be taking any ticket money until the autumn, but if you’d like to reserve a table do get in touch so we can put your name down for one.
