Peter Newell

Published by Harper, New York in 1903. As well as 'The Hunting of the Snark' the book includes the other poems from, 'Rhyme & Reason', plus poems from the two 'Alice' books and 'Sylvie & Bruno', it containes 40 plates by Newell.

Mervyn Peake

Published by Chatto & Windus in 1941. This is the 'limited' edition with red boards and dust Jacket, there was a new edition published in 1999 by Methuen which included 'The Snark Sketchbook' at the rear showing Peake's original art work for the book.
