Purpose

To collaborate with the community and statewide entities to advocate and educate on substance abuse legislation, policies, and relate issues.

Goals

• Identify priority substance abuse and related issues each year
• Communicate priority issues to and with AC4C members/coalitions and statewide partners
• Develop educational awareness pieces to distribute to AC4C members (issue briefs, toolkits, etc.)
• Educate AC4C members on how to look up and follow legislation
• Plan and organize legislative advocacy (i.e. Day on the Hill)

Goals

• Provide training and technical assistance to members
• Share and coordinate resources
• Maintain and update social media
• Update training and distribute training calendar
