Historic Sites in Huntville

The map below shows various historic sites in Huntsville, Missouri. Being laid out in 1831 the town has many sites that are of local importance. Unfortunately, while we know most of the sites, there are some lost to us. The site of the first business, a tavern operated by Daniel G. Davis and Waddy T. Currin in a building owned by William Goggin is lost to us. Many, if not most of the historic buildings were tore down. There are sites close to Huntsville that are not listed on this map, but do appear on the "Historic Map of Randolph County, Missouri." You are encouraged to view it as well.
