Membership

We're always looking for new members!

Membership is open to anyone 15 years of age and older. We ask, however, that members 15-17 years of age (junior members) have an adult accompany and supervise them during all meetings and events. The adult does not have to join the Club.

Anyone interested in learning more about the Club is welcome to visit us during one of our Work/Operating Meetings. We recommend that you contact a Club member prior to attending a meeting to ensure that the meeting is going to be held as scheduled. Occassionally we have special events that interrupt our regularly scheduled meetings. Visit the Contact Us page for contact information.

Our members have a large variety of model railroading experience, from beginner to seasoned veteran. The areas of interest and expertise of our members are equally varied and include model railroad structures, scenery, trackwork, electrical/electronics, and operations.

Anyone interested in Club membership should contact one of our Club members and/or visit the Club during one of our Work/Operating Meetings. We will give you a Candidate Member Information Form to complete and return to us. You will then be invited to attend an upcoming Business Meeting during which time your membership will be voted upon by Club members.

Annual dues are collected in January of each calendar year. The dues are used to fund various projects and to purchase supplies for the Club.

The High Bridge Railroad Club is a not-for-profit organization.

• For members 18 years of age and older, annual dues are $60.
• For junior members (15 - 17 years old), annual dues are $30.
• If you join part way through the calendar year, your dues for the remainder of that year will be prorated.
