Achievements:

  • Led a team of cashiers to improve metrics of customer satisfaction. Focused on greater acquisition of new credit accounts. Trained new employees in the finer points of retail pricing and customer reward systems.

  • Developed, designed and maintained a specialized web site. Decided upon a topic that filled a gap on the web and thus achieved traffic of 4,000+ hits in one year.

  • Researched and evaluated data on wireless telecommunication companies worldwide collected from a large number of sources. Interpreted and published the results as a report to be included in an investment fund prospectus.

  • Edited, authored and designed (house style, layout) a monthly magazine for a student organization. The attractive and informative publication increased the visibility of the organization and improved communication with the student community as a whole.

  • Promoted the platform of a Belgian political party. Served on committees on a national and international level. Participated in several international conferences and projects. Authored articles, interviewed and did layout work for publications and brochures.

  • Developed up to 10 new elective courses to enhance college offerings. Selected textbooks, audiovisual aids, created handouts, exercises and group work assignments, developed means of assessing the starting level and the progress made by students. Achieved marked improvement of the students' understanding of the subject matter.
