Dhanaji Nana Chaudhari Vidya Prabodhini, established in 1994 in memory of the great freedom fighter, late Karmayogi Dhanaji Nana Chaudhari, by the former Education Minister of Maharashtra, Late Shri Loksevak Madhukarrao Chaudhari, started the Arts, Commerce & Science College in 2000. Initially, the library had a limited number of books, but in 2016, the college shifted to a new building and was renamed Shirish Madhukarrao Chaudhari College. The library, now on the stilt floor of the new building, covers an area of 121.77 Sq.m. and offers separate reading rooms, library stacks, and staff reading areas with ample facilities. The library is automated using Master Soft's ERP LIB-MAN, a Cloud-based Library Management System,The library collection constantly grows according to user demands and currently holds 5093 books. It also subscribes to an average of 24 different subject periodicals, along with a collection of bound volumes of periodicals, CD/DVDs, project reports, previous years' question paper sets, and junior college books.The library has subscribed to the N-LIST database, granting users access to over 6000 journals and 199,500 eBooks. Furthermore, it celebrates Dr. S. R. Ranganathan as Librarians Day and Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam's birth anniversary as Reading Motivation Day. Since 2014-15, the library has been awarding the "Best Reader Award" annually to a deserving student.
