2) Friday, May 10th, 8:15 - 10 pm guided practice at the Grand Ballroom with

Nicolas Filipeli. $10.

  The price for the class and practice together will be $30.


Private lessons are available from 8 May to 12 May. The price for a 60

min private lesson is $120. Packages are available upon request.

Nicolás Filipeli 

Nicolás Filipeli, born in Lanús, Buenos Aires, along with his brother Germán, became involved in tango at the age of 15. He began his training at a dance school in Lanús, achieving success in youth tournaments in Buenos Aires and winning numerous awards. Over the years, he enriched his training with classical and contemporary dance, being part of various dance companies.

In 2014, Nicolás finished fourth in the Tango World Championship, being the first male couple to reach the final. After this achievement, he embarked on an independent professional path with his dance partner, touring numerous countries in America, Europe, Asia, and Oceania.

In 2019, he made history by taking third place in the Tango World Championship with a fresh and bold performance. Currently, Nicolás Filipeli is preparing a new show for his upcoming tour of the United States.

As part of the "Tango Twins," Nicolás and his brother were featured in various notable companies, such as Roberto Herrera's, Leonardo Cuello's, Romay Productions, Erica Boaglio's, Andrian Aragón's, and Hernán Piquin's. They performed in renowned tango houses in Buenos Aires, such as El Viejo Almacén, Madero Tango, Homero Manzi, Café de los Angelitos, and Tango Rojo (Hotel Faena).

Over the years, they were invited to represent the "Argentine flag" at Expo Yeosu in 2012 and toured countries such as Japan, South Korea, China, Indonesia, Australia, New Zealand, Italy, Spain, and Greece. In 2021, after the pandemic, they were called by the luxurious Grand Fiesta American resort in Cancun, Mexico, presenting shows and classes in the Riviera Maya.

In 2022 and 2023, Nicolás Filipeli participated in the Man How Dance Festival in Miami and undertook a successful tour of the United States, being invited to festivals  conexión such as Queer Miami Tango  2022-23-24, , he stood out at the San Miguel de Allende Festival (Mexico), the Queer Tango Festival, and Love & Love Buenos Aires in Argentina.

Currently, Nicolás Filipeli is organizing his new 2024 tour of the United States, consolidating his impact on the international tango scene.
