Hi I'm Lyndi, and welcome to my digital portfolio!

ChemConSciComm explains my pursuits as a chemist, conservation scientist, and science communicator.

I spent much of my time in academia sharing how science is used to protect cultural heritage and preserve history.  Through my work, I realized my role as a communicator and ambassador. Now my mission is to break down complex scientific concepts so the public can appreciate and understand the value of science.

Science first interested me because it offered a deeper fundamental explanation of the world around me. Now I am eager to continue exploring the overlap of chemistry with my interests in writing, art, and history.

One of my goals is to visit all 13 Presidential Libraries by the US National Archives. So far I've been to five--this was taken at Eisenhower's in Abilene, Kansas.
