To comply with federal guidelines related to federal grant funds, this page will host a variety of required information and other information that may be helpful for our community to understand.

In the 2020-21 School Year Madison School District received the following funds:

CARES Act/ESSER Grant: Funds available for use through Sept. 30, 2022

$58,114.58  ESSER Grant info from NH Dept. of Ed

Funds were used in the following ways:

• Increased RTI instruction time

• Food Service Programming 

• Before/After School Tutoring

• Materials & Furniture to support COVID-19 restrictions learning environment

• PPE & Cleaning/Disinfecting Supplies

• Technology peripherals

• Software support

• Stipends for task force participants

• Storage for additional supplies, furniture, and materials

Supplemental Funds: Funds were available for expenditures from  Nov. 13 - Dec. 30, 2020

$56,600.00 NH Dept. of Ed Supplemental Public School Response Fund

Funds were used in the following ways:

• Student software tools

• Student furniture & storage units

• Technology devices and storage carts

• PPE

• Student Special Education Services

• Social Worker Services

ESSER II Grant: Funds available for use through Sept. 30, 2023

$193,828.09  ESSER II Grant info from NH Dept. of Ed

Funds are budgeted or anticipated to be used in the following ways:

• After school intervention and enrichment program supplies

• Increased Student Support time

• Increased RTI instruction time

• Online software and tools

• PPE & cleaning/sanitation supplies

• Food programming supplies

• Summer Task Force Stipends

• Updated technology and infrastructure

• Delivery of Summer Meals Program through partnership with the NH Food Bank

• Leveled reading books

• Student tutoring

• Summer tutoring program

• Stipends for paraprofessionals covering classrooms

• Staff incentives

ESSER III Grant: Funds available for use through Sept. 30, 2024

Final Total Allocation: $435,736.54

Funds are budgeted or anticipated to be used in the following ways:

• HVAC upgrades

• Additional classroom teacher

• Additional Special Education teacher

• RTI programming

• Before/After school tutoring

• Collaboration time for instructional staff

• Furniture

• Supplies and Materials to support COVID-19 mitigation strategies, restrictions, and changes to learning environments
