Our Vision

The purposes of the curriculum in Wales should be that children and young people develop as:

  • ambitious, capable learners, ready to learn throughout their lives

  • enterprising, creative contributors, ready to play a full part in life and work

  • ethical, informed citizens of Wales and the world

  • healthy, confident individuals, ready to lead fulfilling lives as valued members of society.

St. Cadoc’s Catholic Primary School is a Welsh Government Curriculum Pioneer School. We are currently researching and piloting curriculum models that best meet the needs of our children and raise standards and aspirations, in accordance with ‘Successful Futures’.

The school’s Vision was revised during 2017-2018, in consultation with all staff and governors. It aims to encapsulate three elements:

1. high academic achievement for all;

2. development of personal values/virtues for our whole school community; &

3. reflect the distinctive Catholic nature of the school.
