Agrarian Proverbs
Some good old fashioned "horse (/ mule!) sense" as well as other nuggets of wisdom we've picked up along the Tour...
Don't hold other people to standards that you yourself can't keep
Farmers need a good Tool Shop - poor / misused tools should be scrapped
always wear a belt - you can use it to strap a milk cows hind legs so she can't kick you while milking
humor is like fire - it can warm you and can cook with it if used properly - or it can burn you
most construction projects require at least two people (if only to hold the tape measure)
it's best to "compliment in public, and criticize in private" - and always pair any critiques with viable alternatives
sometimes farming is difficult, and farmers periodically operate in the "red zone" where tempers can flare;Â but we don't want to make "asses" out of ourselves - after all, we're Mules!
