Getting a break from caring

Carers are doing possibly one of the most demanding jobs in the world, FOR FREE! Everyone has days off from work and holidays and this should be no different for carers. Below are some links which may help you to access support to allow carers time to recharge their batteries.

Self referrals are accepted by phone or email.

Dementia Respite Support Service provides respite of 2 to 4 hours for the main carer to go out. All Care Support Workers are NVQ2 registered and have ongoing training. We also provide 3 months of crisis visits for appointments etc, and we are CQC registered.
