Minor Piercings
Getting your first piercing or a new piercing is an exciting moment in every young person's life! Courtney takes the utmost care that every person in her chair is comfortable and understands what is happening. We also take extra special care to make sure the Parent or Guardian with the minor getting the piercing has all of their questions and concerns addressed as well.
Piercings offered to minors:
Age 10 and above:
Ear Lobes
Age 15 and above for all other piercings excluding:
Surface
Nipple
Genital
Please have the minor eat an hour prior to their visit.
Must Have Documents
There is additional paperwork needed for an appointment:
Document 1:
A parent or legal guardian must bring an original copy of one of the documents listed below to show they have the authority to sign for the minor getting the piercing.
Original Legal Document
Birth certificate (full form- all names listed)
Adoption papers
Guardianship papers (Required for legal guardianship)
Divorce papers
Marriage license (emancipated due to marriage)
Document 2:
A parent or guardian must bring one of the following for identification purposes. The name on this document must match the name listed on Document 1 provided.
Passport
State ID
Drivers license
Green card
Resident visa
Document 3:
The minor receiving the piercing must have one of the following for identification and the name must also match Document 1.
Passport
State ID
