Belaire Magnet High School will provide an innovative learning environment emphasizing science, technology, engineering, arts, and math where graduates are prepared to face new challenges and solve real-world problems.

• Young people need to accept the responsibility of becoming competent consumers and producers and to develop an awareness of the world's finite resources and their responsibilities for them.

• Young people need to accept the responsibilities involved in freedom --- to know, to understand, and to participate in the democratic process.

• Young people should have the opportunity to meet with the feeling of success and accomplishment in their daily lives.

• Young people need to respect the dignity of others, to strengthen their own moral and ethical standards, and to appreciate the rich diversity of life.
