Microsoft Office 365 Training Courses

All training courses are 1 hour in length and delivered online. To access the courses you will need an internet connected device with a camera and microphone. Courses can delivered to any size of group but for the best experience we recommend groups of sizes of 8-10 maximum.

Teaching Online - Basics

An introduction to teaching online for those trying this for the first time. This course is based around Microsoft applications and includes the use of Meet, Powerpoint and Microsoft Forms to quickly enable teachers and educators to connect with students, present information and assess progress.

Microsoft Teams - Basics

A course for teachers and other educators who want to get to grips with Microsoft Teams. This course is for those who are new to Teams and covers the key tools in Teams from both the teacher and the students viewpoint. Completion of this course will enable you to confidently link with learners via Teams.

One Drive Course

Get in control of your file management. This course will give you the skills to get your files and folders under control. The course covers the management of your One Drive and the transfer and sharing of files between colleagues and different file management systems and applications.

Video Lesson Creator

This course covers the use of Powerpoint, Screen capture and Stream (or YouTube) to enable you to quickly create and deliver online video lessons to your students. No more endless hours searching for a YouTube video that almost does the job. Now you can create video lessons tailored to your students' needs

Microsoft Forms Course

A course covering the use of Microsoft Forms as a survey tool and also as a tool for both formative and summative assessments. The course covers the use of Microsoft Forms for self marking quizzes, teacher marked assessments and student independent study. The use of Excel for quizz data analysis is also included.

Microsoft Sway Course

A course covering the basic skills needed to build functional and attractive Microsoft Sway Sites. The course will cover the use of Sway as both a communication and collaboration tool and as a resource for student directed and independent study. The use of Sway for students to showcase their work is also covered.

Class Notebook

This course covers the use of the Class Notebook within Microsoft Teams. The course focus is on the use of Class Notebook for teacher-student interaction and for team collaboration, between students and teacher, between student groups and also between teachers to plan, create and share teaching materials.

Powerpoint Course

This course covers much more than the basic use of Microsoft Powerpoint as a presentation tool. It also covers ways that Powerpoint can be used to for student individual and collaboration tasks and for assessment of student work. It also covers how slides can be embedded into websites for students to view.
