Who am I?

My name is Zoe DeFazio. My pronouns are she/her/hers. I consider myself to be a bright-eyed woman with a taste for the finer things in life, the very definition of a libra.

I am a student at Manhattan College majoring in Communications with a concentration in journalism. I am also a Critical Race and Ethnicity Studies minor. I am inquisitive with a passion for boundary-pushing journalism regarding the sociological aspect of racial biases within the nation and an interest in analyzing the ways in which marginalized people exist and move through the world. I serve as an intern for Manhattan College's Lasallian Women and Gender Resource Center. Outside of the LWGRC, I am the assistant Arts and Entertainment editor of Manhattan College's student-run newspaper, The Quadrangle, where I tackle Jasper community issues and achievements along with social justice issues. I have my own column titled "To Whom It May Concern, a Discussion about Race" which breaks down sociological and media issues regarding race. I also write for HerCampus as I discuss my journey through religion and spirituality while I discover my divine femininity.
