SHRRS 2024 Calendar Casting Call 

Due to public demand we have opened our calendar casting to cats and horses too!

Kindly be aware that for this year, we are producing three distinct calendars: one featuring dogs, another showcasing cats, and a third highlighting horses. The images should exclusively feature either dogs, cats, or horses, without any combinations.


Here's your chance to show off how ridiculously adorable your pet is!

Your pet could feature as the cover model of our 2024 SHR calendar or as one of the 12 pet-of-the months.


What we're looking for:


There is a small donation entry fee of R50 per image. You are most welcome to enter as many times as you would like!

All donations from the calendar competition and sale of the calendars will go towards the dog food and vet bills of our 87 rescue dogs at SHRRS. 


Photo submission deadline is 29th September 2023. All photos and donation proof of payments can be emailed to info@summerveldhoundresort.org.


All entries will be featured on our Instagram stories and the winners will be notified on the 6th October 2023. All 13 winners of each calendar will receive a free copy of the relevant calendar. 


Casting is open to all SA pets


*Exclusive to Paw Members, you can submit up to two photos of your beloved pets.

The 2024 Calendars will be available to purchase in the last quarter of 2023.
