Circle Time is our program geared towards students entering 1st and 2nd grade.

Circle Time will include a story read aloud, an arts and craft project that will promote creativity, use of motor skills and learning colors and shapes. We will also be engaging in activities that will promote knowledge of letters, letters sounds, name writing, recognization of "snap words", and topics such as the seasons, animals and other foundational learning topics for young learners!

Circle Time will run for 1 hour on Wednesdays in July at 3pm - 4pm.

Reading and sharing stories can:

  • help your child get to know sounds, words and language, and develop early literacy skills

  • learn to value books and stories

  • spark your child’s imagination and stimulate curiosity

  • help develop your child’s brain, ability to focus, concentration, social skills and communication skills

  • help your child learn about the world, their own culture and other cultures.

**please note**

Students are paired according to grade to ensure that the learners within the group have similar academic needs. All groups will kept to small sizes so that all students will receive adequate and impactful attention.

During PSA group tutoring sessions for all ages and subjects, while students will benefit from direct attention in this learning space, students will not be receiving individualized help on specialized topics. This is not to say that any student will be overlooked, but to express the fact that the focus will be on catering to the general needs of the group, not specific, individual needs of the learners.
