Queer Active is a volunteer-led LGBTQ+ community organisation based in Yorkshire, bringing people together through outdoor activities, sport, social events, and shared adventures.

We believe everyone deserves opportunities to be active, make meaningful connections, and feel part of a supportive community. Whether you're joining us for a countryside hike, a beach day, a sports session, wildlife spotting, or a social meet-up, you'll find a welcoming environment where you can be yourself.

Our events are open to all abilities and experience levels. You don't need to be an athlete or an experienced walker, just bring yourself and a willingness to get involved.

Since launching, we've grown into a thriving community, hosting walks, hikes, sports activities, nature events, and social gatherings across Yorkshire. As a constituted, community-led organisation, we're committed to improving wellbeing, reducing isolation, and creating spaces where LGBTQ+ people and allies can connect, belong, and thrive.
