Instructors

Todd D. Oyen is a 5th Degree Master in Tang Soo Do and certified Chief Instructor by the World Tang Soo Do Association.  Master Oyen is married to LaCinda Oyen and between them they have four children.  He began his martial arts training in 1984 and achieved his 1st Dan in Tae Kwon Do in 1988.  In addition to Tang Soo Do he practices Ki Gong.  Master Oyen is a native of Madison, WI, and lived in Atlanta for a few years where he taught for the Young Olympian Program to bring programs to underprivileged youth in Atlanta.  In 1992 he moved to the Shoals area and began training in Tang Soo Do.  He is a paramedic instructor at Northwest-Shoals Community College.  Master Oyen continues to actively work on ambulances, and had the honor of receiving the rare 30 Year award from the National Registry of EMT's.

Tom Jones is a 5th Degree Master in Tang Soo Do.  Master Jones is a Certified Instructor by the World Tang Soo Do Association.  Master Jones is also the Chief Instructor and studio owner of All American Tang Soo Do with dojangs in Russellville and Haleyville.

Mr. Deryll Banning, 4th Degree Black Belt, leads and assists teaching  all our classes. In addition to Tang Soo Do, Mr. Banning teachings Ki Gong classes.

Mr. Denny Belew, 3rd Degree Black Belt, leads and assists teaching in the evening program.
