Call for Papers

Call for Papers

We invite researchers to submit original research papers in the area of mapping and map-based localization for autonomous driving, which will be peer-reviewed and published in the workshop proceedings if accepted. Additionally to this publication track, we offer a presentation-only track for papers that have been previously published in peer-reviewed venues. This track offers the opportunity to present recent work to a broader audience especially if the original publication was at an online-only venue and hence could profit from an in-person presentation.

Areas of interest include, but are not limited to:

  • Localization and re-localization in challenging weather and lighting conditions

  • Mapping for autonomous driving

  • Place recognition

  • Robust simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM)

  • Etc.

Dates

Paper submission (both tracks): August 7, 2022

Acceptance notification (both tracks): August 16, 2022

Camera ready (publication track): August 19, 2022

Submission Guidelines

Submitted papers to the publication track must conform to the ECCV format. As stated in the ECCV guidelines, submissions may not exceed 14 pages excluding references, however, we would like to note that shorter submissions are welcome. Submissions to the publication track will be peer-reviewed (double-blind).

Submitted papers to the presentation-only track should be sent in their original format and do not have to be reformated to fit the ECCV template. Please indicate the venue and year of the original publication of the paper. A committee will select the presentations based on scientific quality, relevance, and available time slots.
