Nel 2005, viene presentato lo spettacolo intitolato “L’ultimo canto di Orfeo”, una libera interpretazione musical-multimediale del mito greco di Orfeo ed Euridice. L’idea si basa sulla rappresentazione di un viaggio musicale avvalendosi dell’uso di un piccolo corpo di ballo, di voci narranti fuori campo per accompagnare lo svolgersi dei quadri musicali come un piccolo vademecum per lo spettatore, e della proiezione di alcuni videoclip sincronizzati all’esecuzione live dei brani.
Dopo il primo lavoro, rappresentato in numerosi teatri ed accolto favorevolmente dalla critica, i Métronhomme decidono di realizzare un CD comprendente la parte musicale dello show.

The show entitled "The Last Song of Orpheus" was played in public for the first time in 2005: a free musical-multimedia interpretation of the Greek myth of Orpheus and Eurydice. The idea is based on the representation of a musical journey using a small dance troupe; some backgroud narrating voices accompained the unfolding of the musical paintings as a small vademecum for the viewer and the band used also some synchronized video-projections to accompany the performance of the pieces.
The band, represented its first work in numerous theaters; the performances were welcomed by the critics and Metronhomme decided to create a CD of the musical part of the show. Here it is the music from the Cd “L’Ultimo Canto di Orfeo".
