Paul Benson grew up in Bountiful, Utah. He received his Bachelor's Degree at Brigham Young University. Dr. Benson then went on to receive his doctorate of medicine in dentistry at the University of Louisville in Kentucky. Dr. Benson is the only oral surgeon in Davis County that then received his medical doctorate degree through a residency program in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery also at the University of Louisville.

Dr. Benson has been practicing as an Oral & Maxillofacial surgeon in Layton, Utah since 2005. He specializes in wisdom teeth removal, tooth extractions, dental implant placement, full mouth reconstruction, facial reconstruction, TMJ disorders, and facial cosmetics. He offers a range of anesthesia options including general anesthesia, IV sedation, Nitrous Oxide (laughing gas), and local anesthetic (numbing shots). He works closely with his patient's general dentists and orthodontists to create treatment plans that will help them achieve the smile and overall oral health that they desire.

Dr. Benson, his wife, and five sons love living here in Layton, Utah. They are passionate about world travel and local adventures in the Utah outdoors.
