Bringing island hearts to mainland homes. We believe every pet should be safe, cherished, and part of a loving family. Our mission is to provide rescue dogs and cats from Puerto Rico with compassionate care and thoughtfully managed adoption services and support, securing permanent, nurturing homes, giving each animal the opportunity for a better life.
Our Impact
We successfully place rescue dogs and cats from Puerto Rico into loving, permanent homes throughout Virginia. Each adoption represents lives saved and families transformed, demonstrating the power of compassionate care, dedicated foster support, adopter education resources, and thoughtful adoption practices. Through these efforts, we continue to reduce animal suffering and give hope to countless vulnerable animals.

There are many ways to get involved with our organization and mission, no matter your location or age! We have a community of adopters, fosters, donors, and volunteers. Beyond our rescue, we are always looking for other partner rescues on the East Coast to accept fully vetted and highly adoptable dogs and cats.
