Welcome one and all. Although this site is primarily related to the Reliant Fox and other 4-wheel derivatives of the Kitten, I hope 3-wheeler afficionados will also find it useful and interesting. After all, since the introduction of Robin in 1973, we all share the same basic ideas and running gear, though older Reliants much less so.
2020: Google SITES have migrated to a new platform. Some pages work, some don't, or work differently [see below.] PLEASE CONTACT ME WITH COMMENTS OF ANY SORT [CONSTRUCTIVE IF POSS!] ABOUT HOW I CAN IMPROVE THE SITE.
I HAVE TRIED NOT TO INCLUDE ANYTHING COPYRIGHT, OR WITHOUT PERMISSION. I may slacken my rule on that one as time goes by...

How to use the site: [choose to read files online or download them]
Click on the 3-bar menu, top left, to reveal a sidebar menu of page headings. Clicking on a disclosure arrow reveals a list of files or 'subpages' within.
1: Left-Clicking a subpage's name will open it to read online, then Left-clicking a title on that page will open it in a new window, from which the article can be read and downloaded.
2: In most page views click on the top corner arrow to open in a downloadable format.
3: Where pages show items as images, to download an image right-click for a menu.
3: Failing all else, open the drop-down menu top left, and right-click on any heading or sub-heading to copy the link; paste the link to a fresh window and follow your normal method to download.
Primarily this site is dedicated to sharing help and information about Reliant vehicles, built in Tamworth, UK, with glassfibre bodywork.
Reliant built a great variety of vehicles [as well as other items made from G R P] including the Scimitar range, using Ford and Rover engines, and the famous 3-wheeler Regal, Robin and Rialto ranges, using Reliant's own design of engine in lightweight alloy, of capacities rising through the years from 600cc to 848cc ['850']. The earlier, side-valve-engined models are not catered for here.
Lesser known are the ranges of 4-wheeler 'Economy' vehicles, many based on the contemporary three-wheeler range mechanically and also in body style.
Of these 4-wheelers the 1960s Rebel was based on the contemporary Regal 3-wheeler, the 1970s brought the Kitten, based on the Robin 3-wheeler, and finally in 1983 the Fox, which was a totally different body design on a chassis and running gear originally donated by the Kitten, with some modifications, updates and improvements adopted through to the end of production in the late 1980s.
While the majority of stuff on this site centres around the Fox, much of it is relevant to the other economy four- and three-wheelers, not to mention other British vehicles produced in the days of distributors and carburettors, as Reliant made good use of mechanical and electrical components shared by other manufacturers. All you need to know about SU carbs, Lucas distributors, etc.
The time has come when professional service engineers have little to do with components such as these. Enthusiasts and home-mechanics need more and more to find advice and explanations of how to service and repair their vehicles. I hope this site will help.
The other main purpose for this site is to share things which are merely of interest. Pictures, history, little-known-facts, whatever, aside from the primarily technical.
The excellent Worldofreliant forum, and the various Reliant clubs do an increasingly good job of bringing together people and ideas, problems and solutions. I hope this site will provide some sort of permanent library to refer to in addition.
Any ideas? Want me to include something? eMail me at hidunc@ntlworld and I'll do my best.
