James Muscatello
Player Development Coach
James has 15 years of hockey development experience encompassing all ages, levels, and skills. His dedication and passion for molding the complete player has led to success in building the confidence and skill set needed to get to the next level. In 2010 he formed H3 Hockey Development, where he has accumulated over 5,000 hours instructing private lessons, camps and clinics working with collegiate, junior, high school and youth hockey players. James takes pride in developing players of all abilities through various coaching techniques, while incorporating his coaching values of Head-Heart-Hustle(H3).
Coach Muscatello grew up in Baldwinsville, NY where he played for various youth organizations throughout the Central New York area. He played 4 successful years at Baldwinsville High School, where he led the team to its first ever State Championship appearance, earning the New York State Player of the Year honor along the way. After graduating HS, he attended Northwood Prep school for a postgraduate season. James then went on to play four years of NCAA collegiate hockey at Fredonia State University, winning a SUNYAC Championship and receiving a degree in Sport Management with a Minor in Coaching. Prior to starting a family, he found success coaching at the Junior level, where he coached the Syracuse Stampede to a 103-15-5-4 record over 3 seasons. James currently resides in Baldwinsville with his wife and two young children.
