Erika Povea

I am a PhD candidate in Economics at the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH), affiliated with FAIR. I am interested in labour economics, particularly questions related to education and inequality.

Using quasi-experimental methods and administrative data from Norway, Colombia, and Ecuador, I study how early-life circumstances shape individual outcomes, from childhood to labor market trajectories. 

During the 2024–2025 academic year, I visited the Department of Economics at Brown University, hosted by Anna Aizer.
