One of my many favorite parts of the job, giving someone a brilliant new smile. Our patient of nearly 20 years asked me to improve her smile as she was sick of the dull, lack-luster appearance of her teeth that has previously be cosmetically treated with composite veneers . We decided to place 12 porcelain veneers to improve the appearance of her smile.
6 Porcelain Veneers to replace old composite veneers on the top and 6 porcelain veneers on the lower teeth to improve their appearance.

A nice smile sometimes isn't just about straight teeth. Our patients teeth were straightened, however she had "barrel shaped" teeth and a slightly gummy smile.
These features "put out" tooth shape and proportion which are two important factors, OTHER than alignment (straightness) that contribute to a nice smile.
I performed a laser gum lift and bonding to enlarge and reshaped her teeth from barrel shaped to rectangular.
Both the patient and I were ecstatic with the result !
