"Rutz" Clovis

This large Clovis was on exhibit at the 2013 PaleoAmerican Odyssey Conference and is called the "Rutz" Clovis. It was found in the early 1950s and nearly four decades later was brought to light when the owners read an article about the Wenatchee Clovis site in National Geographic magazine. It's made of rainbow Obsidian and measures 9 and 3/4 inches long making it the largest Clovis point known to date.
