Touched is a compilation album curated by Martin Boulton (aka Min-Y-Llan). What began as a holiday charity album featuring some friends' music has grown into a mega-compilation of some of the planet's greatest electronic, ambient and modern classical musicians. Martin received a massive influx of submissions when word got out about the album and its cause, Macmillan Cancer Support.

The digital download, available via Bandcamp, includes tracks by Plaid, Future Sound of London, Arovane, Brothomstates and many, many more - over 120 tracks in total. Some of the tracks by these featured artists are previously unreleased, and some of the contributing artists have come out of retirement especially for the cause. Although primarily an 'electronica' release, there are a variety of genres represented. Boulton says, "It's got a really wide-range of music, from acoustic music, vocals, ambient, downtempo, you name it. It's going to have something on it you like!"

The album starts at £6 (~$10 USD), with the option to donate more, and all proceeds go to benefit Macmillan Cancer Support centres around the UK. Macmillan provides funds for nurses and specialists, builds care centres and offers practical and emotional support to patients, families and the community. Inspired to help after his mum was diagnosed, Boulton said he had the urge to do something to raise awareness and support; since music has always been his main focus, putting together a compilation album made most sense to him.
