Social events coming up

Your social committee have put their heads together and have the following events planned.

1) Wednesday 5th December - Fancy (head) dress social volleyball (everyone welcome) from 6pm to 730pm. If you fancy going the whole fancy dress hog then please do so, otherwise we would like you to dress up your head e.g. wigs, hair do, face paints, make up, guyliner etc. From 7.30 onwards we will meet at the Centurion Pub for a buffet and social evening. The cost will be £3 per head. We hope this will be a fun club evening but please do feel free to invite family or those wonderful people who help us out by line judging, supporting etc. (there will be no volleyball after 7.30)

Please reply to this email to confirm your attendance and if you are bringing someone else along. Payment can be made to Bev, Julie, Alison Knott or Toni. The deadline for orders is - Thursday 22nd November.

Finally, as the buffet is savoury we would like to organise some cakes for afters. If you would like to make and donate a cake or cakes please let me know.

2) A walk along Southsea sea front on Thursday 27th December - come along, bring family and friends, work off a few calories and blow all those Christmas cobwebs away! Meeting at 1030 on the front opposite the pitch and putt course. Parking is free at this time of year. Walk to Old Portsmouth. Stop for a drink. Walk back to the start and those who would like to can then go into the tenth hole by the pitch and putt for cakes (and put some calories back on!!)

3) A quiz night to be held in February. Details to follow.
