Welcome to my website!

I am an Associate Professor and Chairperson of the Public Policy Area at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore. My research and teaching interests are broadly in economics and public policy, focusing on education, labour, health, and political economy.

I received a Ph.D. in Quantitative Economics from the Economics and Planning Unit of the Indian Statistical Institute, Delhi, and have held academic positions at various institutions, including London School of Economics, Loughborough University, University of Goettingen, and University of Warwick. Currently, I am associated with the Institute of Labor Economics (IZA) in Bonn, Global Action for Policy (GAP) Initiative at Northeastern University, and J-PAL as an Invited Researcher. 

I serve as an Associate Editor at Economics of Education Review and an Assistant Data Editor at Economic Inquiry.
