Summary of Teaching

I teach core courses in the social sciences: research methods (Soci 315) and social statistics (Soci 310). On occasion, I teach politics and social change (the topic of my research), advanced methods (survey research, replication/open science), and advanced seminars on youth (digital media).

In Winter 2023, I taught a master's course at the European School of Political and Social Sciences (ESPOL), Université Catholique de Lille.

Research Methods

For the first time ever at MacEwan, there were three sections of Research Methods in a single semester (Fall 2021). The courses are identical in content and assignments, but the face-to-face meeting times were in different time slots. This was a COVID-19 teaching year and the university dictated the format (face-to-face) despite students' demand for flexible, hybrid course offerings. You can find the course outlines below:
