Seili Sounds July the 6. – 11. 2020 has been cancelled due to the circumstances caused by covid-19.

However, Seili Sounds, International Accordion Course 2021 is already being planned and scheduled. The course will take place in July the 12. – 17.2021

Contents of the course:

- daily accordion lessons

- LOTS OF ensemble lessons

- teachers' concert on Tuesday the 13th of July in the Seili church

- students' concert on Friday the 16th of July

- a cruise on "Aurelia" (the research vessel of the university of Turku) in the archipelago surrounding Seili on Wednesday afternoon the 14th (optional, 5-10€ cost, depending on the number of participants)

The island of Seili

-is located some 20 minutes by boat from Nauvo in the Turku archipelago. The boat M/S Östern will take the participants from the Nauvo harbour to Seili on Monday July the 12th at 12.10 pm (it is advised to be at the Nauvo harbour at the latest 11.30am; the boat fare is not included in the course fare, 2019 the adult ticket to M/S Östern costs 7 €).

-the course will kick off after lunch round 3pm

-M/S Östern will take the participants back to Nauvo on Saturday July the 17th at 10.50 am (Seili)

-the course fare will cover daily lessons, accommodation, food (breakfast, two warm meals, coffee and evening snack)

-the accommodation is organized in newly renovated rooms (2-4 persons in each) of Archipelago Research Institute of Turku University
