PicasaStarter Version 2.0 Has Been Released for Downloading

PicasaStarter Version 2.0 has been released.

PicasaStarter version 2.0 Works with Picasa 3.9 and later versions.

New or enhanced features include:

• • Improved User Interface.

  • Built-in Backup solution for Pictures and Databases.

  • Built-in Virtual Picture Drive support for both Relative and Absoute source paths.

  • Ability to create and install Picasa Buttons for advanced users.

  • No longer uses Symlinks for improved compatibility with Windows XP and up.

  • Button for creating shortcuts automatically.

  • "AskUser" shortcut alias shows menu of DB names and describtions.

  • Ability to share Settings among copies on local and network drives.

  • PicasaStarter minimized while Picasa is running.

NOTE: Beta and Release Candidate users!

Please look on the Forum for notes on changing the structure of any existing backups from RC2 and below.

The directory structure of the Backup files has changed.
