David Camner Scholarship Award Winners

Join us in supporting these scholarships for deserving Paly seniors!

Camner Scholarship

Since 2013, 25 graduating seniors have received Camner Scholarships. The award was begun by a group of Paly parents wishing to award funds to graduating seniors who plan to study the fiery arts after high school and whose work in glass or ceramics embodies the vision and creative energy of the program’s founder David Camner. These scholarships give recognition to special seniors for their contributions to the Paly Sculpture class in technical and teamwork skills. Funding for scholarships comes from individual donors.

GLANC Scholarship

The Glass Alliance of Northern California (GLANC) completed their scholarship pledge for three years (2017-19) to honor High School emerging glass artists. They offered two $500 scholarships to graduating seniors focused on glass. We hope GLANC can fund this scholarship in the future. The funds are being contributed as a match to funds raised for the Camner scholarship. GLANC is a non-profit organization whose mission is to further the development and appreciation of art made from glass. (www.glancinfo.org)
