The 2nd Mont Tremblant conference in Political Economy will take place on the 27-30 of march 2014 in Mont Tremblant, Québec Canada.

The conference is organized by Decio Coviello (HEC Montréal) and Nicolas Sahuguet (HEC Montréal) with the support of the Québec Political Economy Study Group (Groupe d'Étude en Économie Politique).

Program:

We will have several presentations a day. Each presentation lasts about 25 minutes and will be followed by a 5-minute (max) discussion among the audience. Only clarifying questions will be allowed during the presentation; more substantive questions will be deferred to the discussion.

Travelling

For travelling, there are several possibilities.

Porter Airlines have flights directly to the Mont Tremblant airport from Boston, New York and Chicago (www.flyporter.com). Surprisingly this is a cheap option.

f you are flying with Porters Airline the shuttle service is free and included. However, please make sure to call Porters in advance and make a reservation for a shuttle for the Tremblant resort , Hotel Mariott Residence Inn. If you do it at the check-in it might be too late.

Otherwise, Mont Tremblant is approximately 120 kms from Montréal and its international airport. In that case, you can consider renting a car or contact the local organizers to see if we can arrange something.
