About Me:

I am a data scientist at the Curtin Institute for Data Science (CIDS). I primarily work as the Astronomy and Data Computing Services (ADACS) project lead for Curtin. I also teach postgraduate computing courses.

My background is in radio astronomy, high performance computing, and workflow automation.

By developing new tools to automate data collection and processing, source finding, and data analysis, my goal is to better understand the information that we get from past, current, and future instruments so that we can more reliably detect the rare and interesting objects that lead to new knowledge. As a data scientist I'm now supporting radio astronomy projects by providing training and software development expertise.
