Welcome to my academic website.

I head up Macroeconomic Modelling in Monetary Analysis, at the Bank of England . I've also worked in the Bank's Financial Stability, Advanced Analytics, and Research Hub arms. I've spent time as a Senior Policy Advisor at the Bank of Canada, and have worked in the UK Civil Service.

I have a PhD in Economics from University College London, and an MA from McGill University. In between, I was a research assistant at Yale University

I'm interested in banking and household finance. My research is primarily focussed on the mortgage market, credit, and consumption behaviour. I have also worked on wealth distribution and generational inequality.

I'm a member of the Centre for Macroeconomics and the Central Bank Research Association; and a research affiliate at UCL's Centre for Finance.

You can find my Google Scholar page here, my IDEAS page here, and my Bank profile here.
