Activities
We schedule a variety of activities at various times of day, depending on the time of year and availability of our Moms. In addition to our monthly general business meeting, we plan play dates, Moms Nights Out, service projects, parties, and MOMS Club Yoga.
Play Dates:
Some of our favorites include local parks, splash pads, Greenfield Village, The Henry Ford Museum, Heritage Park Petting Farm, Detroit Zoo, Belle Isle Aquarium, and story time at Dearborn Public Library.
Our events are planned from member suggestions, so if you have a favorite, we'd be happy to add it to our next calendar!
Moms Night Out:
Every Mom needs a break now and then. So once a month, we leave the kids at home and have some Mom time. Some of our past events include meeting up at local restaurants, attending community events, and Moms' Game Night.
Service Projects:
Every year plan at least one service project to benefit our community. This year we made things to donate to the Labor and Delivery Department at Beaumont Oakwood. We crocheted hats for the newborns, sewed small blankets for the angel babies, and put together a gift basket to thank all of the doctors, nurses, and support staff who help our local Moms and babies during and after delivery.
Parties:
Throughout the year we plan holiday parties and open houses. We enjoy getting together to celebrate, and to invite new members to join us.
MOMS Club Book Club, Craft group and more:
We meet every other month for some fun and easy exercise classes, crafting projects such as ornament making and watercolor painting or book club meetings to keep connected and enjoy some quality time together.
