What is Key Club?

"Key Club is the oldest and largest service program for high school students. It is a student-led organization that teaches leadership through service to others. Members of the Kiwanis family, Key Club members build themselves as they build their schools and communities. Key Club has approximately 260,000 members in approximately 5,000 clubs. Key Club is represented in 31 countries."--Key Club International


What is Kiwanis?

"Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time. Our members help shelter the homeless, feed the hungry, mentor the disadvantaged and care for the sick. We develop youth as leaders, build playgrounds, raise funds for pediatric research and more. Working together, members achieve what one person cannot accomplish alone."--Key Club International


How do I signup?

  • Go to MyPaymentPlus and pay your dues.

  • Turn in a signed Expectation Form.

  • Complete these requirements by October 15th.


How do I maintain active status as a Key Club member?

  • Attend 3 meetings per semester.

  • Participate in at least two service learning events each semester.

  • Complete at least five hours of service learning each semester.


What service projects have we done in the past?

  • Cookie baking for Ronald McDonald House

  • Organizing a Halloween food drive

  • Playing games/socializing with senior citizens

  • Volunteering at various races, including the Race for the Cure for breast cancer and the Great Strides Walk for cystic fibrosis

  • Collecting books and stuffed animals for children in need

  • Middleton High School Relay for Life to raise money for the American Cancer Society

  • AND MANY MORE!

Other leadership opportunities include holding offices, chairing committees, and attending conventions at the district and international levels.

*Members earn hours by volunteering for Key Club organized events, but they are welcome to suggest and/or organize their own event by contacting the Executive Board.
