NWCS/Jin Ting Girls Win Two 1st Place Awards at State Competition!

Great News! The two combined girl's dance groups of Northwest Chinese School and Jin Ting Dance School competed in the 2015 Washington State Chinese Talent Competition and both won 1st Place in their categories!

In the Grades 3 to 5 group, the girls danced "Happy Dong Children". The Kindergarten to Grade 2 girls danced "Traveling by Train to the Countryside". Both dances used original choreography by Teacher He. All the girls and their parents worked very hard for many weeks to earn this prize. All the girls danced beautifully, were very bright and cheerful, and the audiences responded with warm appreciation.

The older girls also danced in the Seattle Chinese Radio Gala and received an Award of Excellence!
