Research Interests Include:
Novel antimicrobial therapies (incl. potential phage derived treatments, PDT, enzybiotics, modified antibiotics and conjugates).
Antimicrobial resistance mechanisms, their evolution and dissemination and potential methods of overcoming the "resistance problem".
Photodynamic therapy, porphyrins, cytochromes.
Reporter systems for measuring antimicrobial efficacy.
Nanotechnology.
Evolutionary genetics, human developmental genetics, hereditary diseases.
