Biography

Hassan Eldib is an Assistant Professor in the ECE Department at Arab Academy for Science and Technology, since Fall 2017. He previously served as a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Computer Science at Rice University, USA, where he worked between 2015 and 2017 on an 11 million Dollar project for developing an Intelligent Software Synthesis tool. He received his Ph.D. from Virginia Tech, USA in 2015. During his Ph.D. his research focused on software engineering for securing and optimizing embedded software.

His current main research interest is in Deep Learning with a broad application focus.

The awards he received include the prestigious best paper award in FMCAD 2013, the CESCA best poster award in 2015 and the Outstanding Student award in 2015. He served as a peer reviewer for a number of top tier journals and conferences.
