At the Upper Thames BC members' day last autumn Eleanor Slade of WildCRU gave a presentation on her research into moths at Wytham Woods. I'm grateful to Eleanor for supplying the data from that project for 2008, which has now been formatted and imported into the county database. It consists of 726 records, including the 31st database record for Twin-spot Carpet, good numbers of Small Wainscot and other local species such as Brown Scallop and Green Arches. There is a lot of older data for Wytham Woods (much of which is still to be processed), but this is a welcome boost to gathering recent records for the north-west tip of VC22.
