 Welcome to my website!

In 2013, I obtained my PhD from the Faculty of Sciences, Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nürnberg, Germany. Afterwards, I had several positions in Germany, Norway and Sweden. Currently, I am Research Associate (Postdoc) at the Weierstrass Institute for Applied Analysis and Stochastics (WIAS), Berlin, Germany, and member of the research group Thermodynamic Modeling and Analysis of Phase Transitions. Prior to my current position, I was Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Department of Mathematics of the University of Oslo (UiO), Norway, and member of the Section Differential Equations and Computational Mathematics. During my time at UiO I had a 6-months research stay in 2020 at the Centre for Mathematical Sciences, Lund University, Sweden. For more details, please see my curriculum vitae

My research is focused on applied analysis, partial differential equations, dynamical systems, mathematical modelling, biomedical applications and numerical simulations. I am interested in problems motivated from physics, biology or medicine, e.g. fluid mechanics and human diseases as cardiac arrhythmia or seizures, and I am open-minded for new problems and challenges in mathematics and interdisciplinary/multidisciplinary research, please see my research interest.

Types of partial differential equations, problems and models I am working on are:
